Injection Molded Plastic Letters Installation Methods

Plain MountPlain Mount

No mounting hardware provided. Customer to supply their own hardware for installation. The reverse side of injection molded plastic letters are hollow. Please note that mounting hardware will be required to install letters. If you choose to do this yourself, and order without hardware as in one of the other options, please be sure of your capabilities. We can not be liable for damage done during installation.

Stud MountStud Mount    Stud Mount Installation Instructions

This is the typical installation method for Injection Molded Plastic Letters. 3/16"diameter studs come out the back of each letter. You can request spacers to allow your letter to stand off the mounting surface. We would need to know how much of a standoff you would like. An installation pattern will be required to ensure proper stud placement. Please be sure to order this with your sign letters

Pad MountPad Mount      Pad Mount Installation Instructions

Clear plastic pads - perforated plastic disks - are glued into the backs of each letter.   You would apply clear silicone adhesive to the pad, and affix to the wall.   We recommend taping the letter up (6-12 hours) until the silicone has a chance to dry. Spacing Tape will be provided to help position the letters in line. An installation pattern is not required. Ideal for indoors, or outdoors if drilling is not possible. Please note that silicone adhesive may damage the surface if you ever remove the letters.

Semi_Adjustable MountSemi-Adjustable Combination Mount   Stud Mount Installation Instructions

A combination mount differs from a stud mount in that the upper portion of the letter has studs and adjustable pads that can be screwed up or down the stud shaft based on the required depth.   The bottom portion of the letter will has non-adjustable pad mounts. This method is ideal for uneven surfaces. An installation pattern will be required to ensure proper stud placement.

Fully-Adjustable Combination MountFully-Adjustable Combination Mount     Stud Mount Installation Instructions

The difference between the Fully-Adjustable Combination Mount and Semi-Adjustable Combination Mount is that  ALL studs have a pad that can be screwed up or down the stud shaft. This allows for full adjustability over all mounting points This is ideal for installations on corrugated tin, curved surfaces and other types of uneven surfaces. This method also provides the capability to stand off the letters from your mounting surface. An installation pattern will be required to ensure proper stud placement. The installation instructions are the same as the stud mount installation instructions.
